Who is Play Therapy for?
Play therapy is suitable for children aged 3 - 12+ with a wide range of emotional and behavioural difficulties.

How will Play Therapy support my child?
Play therapy can support your child with a wide range of concerns such as anxiety, anger management, attachment issues, behavioural difficulties, bereavement and loss, changes in family structures, trauma, nightmares, self-esteem, confidence, ADHD, Autism, abuse and much more.

When and where do sessions take place?
Sessions will occur in my playroom at an agreed time with the parents. Sessions take place at the same time, weekly.

How long is each session?
Sessions are scheduled for 40 minutes.

How many sessions will my child need?
Each child is different, and therefore, the number of sessions will vary depending on the circumstances. We begin with 12 sessions and will review them in week 7 to decide how many more will be required.

Does the parent need to be present during the session?
The child will attend the session on their own with the play therapist but we ask that parents wait in our waiting room during the session in case the child needs to finish the session early.
